Beautifully designed place to stay with a beautiful view of the lake. Brand-new, great-sized room with a functional bathroom, walk-in shower, and a great shower. - Carbonated drinks at the night bar. - Very good service. - the pool is lovely and relaxing too.

The hotel’s unbeatable and quiet location, very close to the city center, was fantastic.

Service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and ready to assist. Location was good. Near the night market and it was fun to walk after dinner and shopping back to hotel...great stroll of about 10 mins. The lotus pond in the middle of the hotel was a great relaxation spot.

Breakfast choice was limited and there was no buffet, could be because the hotel is small. However, the staff prepares the breakfast on the spot guaranteeing a hot morning breakie...that over-shadows the limited choice.

Amazing hotel with beautiful lotus pond and very friendly staff. They' ve looked after us very well ( let us check in early and check out late) and also organized a nice trip to the elephant village. The French lady at the reception was really helpful. The rooms are very clean and well decorated with amazing bath and shower. We have felt sooooooo relaxed in Maison Dalauba. Don't hesitate guys .... just book it !!!!!

The filters of air-con should clean every 2-3 months than can save more electricity costs of the hotel.

The breakfast options were great, with fresh bread and jam that I really enjoyed. the restaurant had reasonable prices and a very relaxing atmosphere overlooking the ponds where I tried wonderful dishes. - the location was central, within walking distance to a temple and palace, which was great.

Fantastic stay. I had a double room on the top floor overlooking the pond. Despite no pool, the grounds compensated with scenic tranquility. Five days there and I was able to enjoy both the town and my accommodations. I was on deadline and needed to finish an article for my editor and was able to do so in various locations around the compound. The breakfast was excellent with delicious bread and fresh fruit every day. I arranged my elephant tour and cooking class with reception. There was a misunderstanding regarding one of the activities and the staff were wonderful and efficient in getting me to destination. By far, this is the best overall boutique hotel I've stayed at in Asia.

Clean place with consistently courteous and super-friendly staff and lovely view of the lake. Amazing, lovely location in the tranquil area. It also was close enough to an oasis and a lotus pond. Reasonably priced restaurant which also has an atmosphere that ca n't be beaten. Really really nice stay on vacation.

The hotel had a great location, with the Royal Palace Museum nearby and just a short walk to a river and lotus pond, which was a bonus.

They are very helpful and willing to help. I've been picked up from the airport very on time and it’s really a hot weather. The driver picked up my luggage without dragging it which makes me feel very appreciate. The welcome information is very useful, the manager (owner?) is a very nice french lady who can speak perfect English. The environment of the hotel is very quiet and safe, with a lake inside. I regret that I didn’t choose the balcony lake view room cause they are really good especially from the 2nd floor ,you can see the lake in the evening in your balcony, which is amazing. The room is quite simple but very clean though, the soap I like it very much. The tower and the sheet, you will not smell the bleaching water, you will smell the fruit and the natural which I like it very much. It’s better than lots of 5 stars hotel in china because you can feel the service is from the heart, not from the regulations. We left in very early and the kitchen prepared us a nice breakfast box and sent us to the hotel. We did not call any “Concierge Department” but the guy still help us to pick up all the luggage from the room to the mini van. I really love the hotel, they put us in heart and they are really smart people. I will recommend you to come because it’s really worthwhile.

only about the air conditioner is not very stable and sometimes it's really nosiy in the middle of the night：）so does the shower system, not very stable.But it does not really matter much.

nice atmosphere at hotel area with small lake nice spacious rooms, good bathroom with hot water good, well working airconditioning clean rooms, clean sheets and towels friendly personnel free bikes available as hotel is a 5 in bike ride from city center (10 min walking) good value for breakfast OK (not buffet style, can choose your type of egg)

limited diner/ drinking options during day/ evening at the patio, 'restaurant' feels bit lonely/ empty during the evening to hang around so better to stay in city center for a drink
